’We have renovated DSB’s former industrial facilities and now use them as studio facilities for TV-shootings and for commercial events. The space, which was originally built for heavy machinery, has for a number of years been used for storage of heavy machine parts for trains. The space is filled with astonishing details and a beautiful beam construction adorns the 12 meter high ceiling.
We wanted to replenish the room with colours of ember and warmth, so the choice fell on Junckers solid Black Oak with a matte lacquered surface. This solution provides us with a surface that is both welcoming and fit for durable wear. At the same time it prevents reflexions from equipment, which is paramount when used for recordings’, says Bo Benzon.
The solid hardwood floor is installed on Sportsfoam. OBV Studios / Otto Busses Vej.
