STUDIO FLOORING | Low profile sports floors ideal for Yoga Studios and Health Clubs
The Studio Floor System is the absolute lowest-profile, "sprung" solid hardwood sports flooring system available. The sports floor system has been specifically developed for non-game lined applications, and provides DIN and EN safety and performance levels.
The top solid hardwood is joined together with Junckers Steel Clips, which allow for unique independent plank flexing, then floats over a 3/16” (5mm) performance foam underlayment for maximum resilience.
This sports floor system is ideal for renovation projects, or when the finished floor height must be kept to an absolute minimum. Most Studio Floor projects are completely installed and ready for use in just a day or two, with minimal disruption to ongoing business.
It is ideal for commercial yoga flooring, health clubs, dance studios, pilates, martial arts, and group X areas.

GONZAGA UNIVERSITY
Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center
This Performing Arts Facility is located on the Gonzaga University Campus and hosts live music, dance, and theater.
The center was a legacy gift to the university from Myrtle Woldson, one of Washington’s leading patrons of the arts.
Pfeiffer Partners, the architect behind, wanted an elegant looking floor, and something warmer than the usual blonde tone often used in auditoriums. The choice fell on Junckers beautiful Beech SylvaRed with a silk matte lacquer.
Besides elegance, the floor system needed to provide excellent safety and performance to those using the floor, as well withstand the heavy loads of pianos and telescoping seating.
For this, the Junckers Clip System was the perfect choice.

LOOKING FOR A HOME OR COMMERCIAL HARDWOOD STUDIO FLOOR? HERE'S YOUR FLOORING CHOICES
A Junckers sports floor is made from 100% solid hardwood and will last for generations. Each plank is made from two rows of staves and is tongue and groove jointed on all four sides.
The floors are extremely stable and therefore minimizes challenges when humidity levels change through the year. We take far longer than normal over the drying process to ensure the movements that occur naturally in all wood is fully controlled and kept to a minimum. Our Beech sports floors are dried using Junckers unique press drying method. Our ash and maple sports floors are kiln dried.
Our floors are ready to use as soon as they are installed. This is because Junckers floors are sealed in the factory with our own produced hard wearing polyurethane.
All Junckers solid hardwood sports floors have the Danish Indoor Climate Certificate for low emissions of organic substances and can be delivered with either a FSC® or PEFC™ accreditation.
The installation process is always fast, easy and clean. Each 12’ (22mm) prefinished plank is 12 foot long, and covers approximately 5 square feet. Each 9/16" (14 mm) is 6’ (1830 mm) long.
